About The Position

The Cafe Attendant is responsible for creating a warm and positive experience for members and guests, assisting them with product selection, maintaining a clean and inviting café area, managing transactions accurately, following food safety procedures, and preparing various food and beverage items. This role involves working closely with teammates and supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of the café.

Must obtain an Illinois Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment (at your own expense)

Responsibilities

Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience.
Answer questions and assist customers with product selection.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café area.
Manage transactions accurately, ensuring the register reflects all sales and services.
Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Prepare smoothies, food, and coffee-related beverages independently.
Work closely with teammates and supervisor, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
