About The Position

ChocMo Chocolatier & Cafe is part of Crabtree Brands, a food and beverage company focused on creating stronger communities through deliberate food and beverage experiences. They are seeking talented individuals to join their team and contribute to creating these experiences for customers. Specifically, they are looking for an Artisan Café Food and Beverage Specialist for their ChocMo Chocolatier and Café location in Poulsbo, WA. Candidates must be 18 or older and able to obtain a MAST permit to serve alcohol.

Requirements

• High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication and memorization skills.
• Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain composed, particularly during stressful or uncomfortable circumstances.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to obtain a MAST permit to be able to sell alcoholic drinks.
• Must be 21 or older in order to pour alcohol.

• Individuals with excellent people skills, who are detail-oriented, and can communicate efficiently and effectively in a professional and friendly manner with a diverse group of customers are preferred and encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter.
• Take orders from customers and provide exceptional guest service.
• Create delicious coffee drinks.
• Build sandwiches, salads, crepes, etc. to order.
• Complete orders accurately and promptly.
• Open and close the POS system with accurate cashiering and cash handling.
• Bus tables and maintain a clean dining room.
• Maintain cleanliness of preparation areas.
• Keep supplies stocked and organized.
• Package Chocolates and stock shelves as directed by our Chocolate Team.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean and ready for guests.
• Check that café equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Complete any required documentation such as shift reports.
