About The Position

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Café Operations Manager to support a high‑profile client in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment and is energized by building something new. Our café serves four meal periods daily. The manager will work a Sunday–Thursday schedule, primarily 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the flexibility needed to support a dynamic operation. We are currently operating out of a temporary kitchen and office space while our brand‑new facility is under construction—making this a unique chance to help shape the future of the program from the ground up. As the Café Operations Manager, you will lead all front‑of‑house operations and ensure every guest interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.

Requirements

A proven track record of delivering outstanding guest service
Strong team leadership, management experience and mentoring experience
A passion for innovation and elevating workplace dining
The ability to thrive in a changing environment, including temporary spaces
A commitment to sustainability, quality, and operational excellence
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
2 years minimum management experience
1 year minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
