Café Ambassador - Boulder

Capital One•Boulder, CO
•Onsite

About The Position

The Café Ambassador is the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good, working in a modern community hub rather than behind a traditional teller line. The role bridges digital banking and human connection by providing high-end guest service, guiding customers through Capital One’s digital tools, and building community through genuine conversations and local events. This is a banking guide role, not a barista position, and it does not have traditional sales quotas or high-pressure sales tactics. The Café Ambassador supports customers with digital banking, advocates for them and owns issue resolution in line with compliance and regulatory requirements. The role includes handling complaints and escalated situations, which may require de-escalation. Ambassadors foster an inclusive environment, work with Capital One’s established programs and community partnerships, and remain active throughout the Café to support the guest experience. The position may require supporting other Cafés within a 50-mile radius and, occasionally, other locations in the broader region. The schedule is flexible and may include nights, weekends, and holidays; hours and days can change based on business needs. Required training may take place on a schedule different from the primary shift. The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds and standing or moving for extended periods. For Boulder, Colorado, the listed full-time annual salary range is $47,840–$55,016. Capital One offers benefits including health coverage, paid time off, education assistance, a matching 401(k) contribution, paid parental leave, mental health support, backup child or elder care, and other benefits.
