About The Position

We are engaging self-motivated individuals with basic golf knowledge and flexible schedules to work as a Golf Caddie at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Ideal candidates possess superior customer service skills and can work weekends or holidays, as needed. Caddie positions are Part-Time and year round. For this position, you must have a general knowledge of the golf game and be able to pass a basic assessment demonstrating your golf knowledge. However, you are not required to be an expert Golfer or have any Caddie experience to perform well. The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Requirements

• General golf knowledge, meaning you can play or prompt another Golfer, though you do not need to be an expert or even play well.
• Must be outgoing and have a customer-first personality.
• Must work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good to Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Calculate yardage for golfers.
• Locate errant shots.
• Maintain the course.
• Clean clubs and golf balls.
• Provide course knowledge and information.
• Assist golfers with decision-making.
• On-course training.
• Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort.
• All other duties as assigned.
