About The Position
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a CADD Technician to support its survey division. The role requires experience in preparing survey drawings for municipal, transportation (DOT), and ALTA surveys. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center (TBC), Microsoft office, and other computer applications and design software is a plus.
- Capable of completing projects with help from surveying technicians, survey field crews, survey project managers and Professional Land Surveyors.
- Minimum of 7 Years of experience
- MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required
Responsibilities
- Working within MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D following client driven CADD standards (NCS, DOT’s, UPRR, USACOE, etc.)
- Adhering to specific quality control procedures
- Completing work according to standard surveying principles and practices and compliance with company standards and quality system procedures
- Creating and documenting easement exhibits, legal descriptions, deed interpretation, layouts, submittals, instructions, and complete survey drawings
- Performing survey calculations and reports
- Coordinating with design engineers to develop ROW and ownership plans for various entities
