As a CAD Technician II, you will be responsible for the production of CAD drawings from sketches, hardline drawings, other electronic formats, and “red line drawings.” This role involves daily processing of survey data, including checking for accuracy and completeness, performing deed research and deed plotting, and preparing legal descriptions, survey drawings, and plats. You will also review construction plans and prepare files to aid the field crew with layout, organize and manage multiple project assignments, and provide technical office support. Ensuring the accuracy of reports by data review and resolving discrepancies internally for assigned projects is crucial. The position requires effective planning, prioritization, and organization, along with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all staff and clients. You will need to organize, multi-task, prioritize, and re-prioritize daily workload, working with minimum supervision and the ability to meet deadlines. Collecting, organizing, disseminating, and analyzing significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy is expected. Finally, you will finalize CAD files and project folders for archiving.
