About The Position

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI), a leading power engineering consultant firm, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Madison, WI as drafters. The successful candidates will be responsible for drafting and design support to multiple design teams involved with conceptual, preliminary, and final design of station projects 34.5 kV through 345kV.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Strong computer aptitude in a Windows environment
• Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• MicroStation experience

Responsibilities

• Drafting and design support to multiple design teams involved with conceptual, preliminary, and final design of station projects 34.5 kV through 345kV.
• Perform a variety of assignments including design of substation physical drawings, substation electrical wiring and schematic diagrams, development of material lists, and other duties as determined by management staff.
