Requirements

Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows and deliverables
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Experience with OpenRail
Preference given to candidates currently residing in the NY Metropolitan Area

Responsibilities

Support Transit Engineers and Transit Project Managers with the production of drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software.
Maintain client specific CAD standards and workspaces.
Develop basic construction quantities from designs.
Create 3D models of freight railroad track/civil projects and other Building Information Modeling (BIM) tasks to support the development of railroad projects.
Perform other duties as needed.
