About The Position

This position is responsible for producing digital CAD drawings of fabric upholstery patterns. The role involves utilizing various software applications to format drawings for nesting solutions in automated cutting equipment. The CAD Technician will work closely with the product development team, requiring a detail-oriented approach and a full understanding of the upholstery manufacturing process, including flow match cutting and maintaining the latest revision of all drawings. The position requires minimal supervision and the ability to meet deadlines, with potential for overtime. Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is mandatory, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Basic CAD experience required.
• Basic computer experience required.
• Minimum 5 years in upholstery manufacturing with an understanding of pattern making and product development.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must have a full range of knowledge of the upholstery manufacturing process.
