CAD Technician Modeler

About The Position
STV currently has an opening in our PA/NJ office for a CAD Technician/Modeler to perform highway and bridge-related drawing and model development tasks on large-scale transportation projects. The position will utilize Bentley tools and in accordance with CAD standards, client design standards, and presentation requirements.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of transportation drafting/modeling experience, preferably with Metropolitan Transportation Agencies.
- Strong proficiency with MicroStation, Bentley Modeler, Revit, plan and detail development, presentation, and CAD/BIM standards.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and carry responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with different software workspaces and project-specific CAD/BIM environments.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop construction package drawings and models using established CAD/BIM standards and client requirements.
- Develop plans, details, sections, and other transportation-related deliverables.
- Work with project teams to coordinate CAD/BIM information across multiple disciplines.
- Troubleshoot modeling and drawing issues and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while working within aggressive project schedules.
- Follow client-specific standards, workflows, and software workspaces.
