About The Position

EnVision Consultants Ltd. is looking for an experienced, motivated, team-oriented person to join our Land Development team as a CAD Technician. Ideal candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities and demonstrate the capacity to effectively manage internal and external relationships. Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting and design
• Knowledge in AutoCAD and Civil3D software
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
• A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance

Responsibilities

• Utilizing your AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge in projects from concept to completion
• Preparing engineering drawings to specified standards
• Providing design assistance
• Earthworks modeling and calculations
• Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment
• Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety programs
• Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects
• Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed
• Any other functions assigned as part of your employment
