About The Position

AECOM is seeking a CAD Technician III to join their CCR team in the Greenville, SC office. This role will involve working on a variety of projects across AECOM's Environment, Water, and Transportation business lines. The successful candidate will collaborate with a diverse team of technical leaders, providing technical skills and developing strong relationships with team members and clients to support new opportunities. Key aspects of the role include effective communication with project teams, clients, site personnel, and management, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The position requires a commitment to team success and growth, rigorous application of safety policies, management of technical, cost, and schedule elements of project delivery, and ensuring the quality of project deliverables within the AECOM Quality Management System.

Requirements

HS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S Driver's License
As a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree in Engineering, Design, Environmental Science or related field
5+ years of experience working in an environmental consulting firm
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, and OpenRoads.
Experience with survey and grading design.
Experience with REVIT.
Experience with BIM.
Able to produce construction documents in BIM environments from start to finish with limited assistance.

Responsibilities

Performing moderately complex technical work utilizing instructions, drawings, sketches and results from computer systems and schematics.
Involved in training and supervising technical personnel.
Perform some data entry.
Act as a resource for CAD drafting/modeling at the project level.
Prepare deliverables.
Perform CAD drafting/modeling
Assist in CAD drafting/modeling and survey standards on an office level.
