Requirements

New Graduate Position, experience on civil engineering projects with CAD related experience is an asset.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software would be considered a strong asset.
Demonstrated abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to think creatively.
Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

3D design and corridor Modelling in Civil3D will be an asset.
Knowledge of working in Collaborative work Environments such as Sharepoint and Projectwise will be an asset.

Responsibilities

Prepares engineering drawings of plans, profiles, Typical sections, cross sections and other typical details based on MTO Standard drawings.
Should be able to work under minimal supervision and be able to organize and perform tasks necessary to complete assigned projects successfully.
Set up project reference base files, set up sheets per standards and manage drawings via sheet set manager.
Adhere to client-specific quality control process (CAD Standards).
Experience of working collaboratively in a team environment with other CAD Technicians and Engineers.
Be competent to develop and understand basic alignments in Civil 3D, prepare cross sections and/or extract quantities.
