About The Position

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of highly engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets, is seeking a CAD Systems Manager to support the modernization of their engineering data and CAD environment. In this role, you'll take ownership of the company's Autodesk Inventor and Vault environment while supporting a major engineering data cleanup and migration initiative. You'll use your mechanical design knowledge and CAD expertise to review, organize, and standardize legacy engineering part data, helping establish Autodesk Inventor Content Center as the company's source of truth for engineering components, libraries, and metadata. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in mechanical design, CAD administration, or engineering technology who enjoys combining design knowledge with systems improvement. You'll work closely with engineering leadership to evaluate existing CAD models, assemblies, and part libraries, identify inconsistencies, improve standards, and develop processes that make engineering workflows more efficient and scalable. The right candidate will enjoy solving complex problems, understanding how products are designed and manufactured, and bringing structure to engineering data. Experience working with standard components, hardware libraries, part catalogs, McMaster-Carr, or similar engineering resources will be highly valuable in this role. If you're looking to join a stable organization where you can make a direct impact, this position offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical CAD systems, improve engineering processes, and help shape the future of the company's digital engineering environment.
