About The Position
The CAD frame drawer will be responsible for creating 3D furniture frame models using Solid Works software. This role involves managing and modifying current frame files, and working closely with the Product Development department to create and modify frames. Other duties may be assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- 3+ Years Solid Works 3D Drawing
- Proficient in Solid Works software
- Able to understand the frame drawing process
- Able to work with Product Development to create new and revise old frames
- Able to perform established goals in a fast-paced environment
- Strict attention to detail
- Team Player
- Reliable
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Must have your own reliable transportation
- Able to work Weekends and Overtime
- Strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English
- Able to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs
- Able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Some walking/standing is required
- Able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant which is heated and cooled, as well as a typical office environment
- Good vision
- Able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe/close-heal shoes when required
- Able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of Furniture frame drawing in Solid Works
- Bachelor’s Degree in CAD with 3+ years’ experience in Solid Works
Responsibilities
- Create 3D furniture frames
- Manage and modify current frame files as needed
- Work closely with the PD department to create and modify frames
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
