About The Position

In this role as a Missile Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and/or modifying 3D missile models, assemblies, and detail drawings utilizing multiple design software packages concurrently.

Requirements

Proficient using Siemens' NX 2022 design software
Proficient using PTC's Creo7.0 design software
Proficient using Dassault's Solid Works 2022 software
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of missile system design
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
4+ years DoD related work experience in missile modeling
Required to be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

Research relevant component and technical related resources in support of project objectives
Provide design solutions while being mindful of form, fit, function and manufacturability
Apply industry best practices along with applicable standards
Maintain Technical Data Package, e.g. drawings, revision history, source references, etc.
Collaborate with Customers, Managers and other team members during model development
Coordinate with other modeling team disciplines to achieve design goals
Must be able to work independently
