About The Position
Kimley-Horn is seeking a CAD Drafter Intern to join their Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FL) office. This is an on-site position where the intern will use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings. The intern will also learn software programs specific to their disciplines and develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Candidates must be enrolled in a technical degree focused on CAD or other relevant degree
- Detail oriented and professional attitude
- Ability to follow directions and work with a team
- Basic working knowledge with CAD
Responsibilities
- Use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings
- Learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines
- Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards
