About The Position
Kimley-Horn is seeking a CAD Drafter Intern to join their Traffic Operations team in Lake Nona, Florida. This position is not remote and will support the transportation team by producing traffic signal plans and related design documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads. Interns will gain experience with specific software programs relevant to their discipline and become familiar with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Candidates must be enrolled in a technical degree focused on CAD drafting.
- Detail oriented and professional attitude.
- Ability to follow directions and work with a team.
- Basic working knowledge with AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Production of traffic signal plans and related design documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
- Learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines.
- Development of familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.
