CAD Drafter / Designer
About The Position
Concreteworks East, a premier manufacturer of custom architectural concrete products, is seeking a CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, work with the nation's leading architects and contractors, and make a significant impact on our projects. The CAD Drafter will work closely with Project Management to draft and publish project-specific shop drawings. Using the contract proposal and architectural drawings, the CAD Drafter will identify the scope of the shop drawings. The candidate will work in a collaborative environment across various departments to review and refine drawing details.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or similar.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Must be proficient in reading architectural drawing sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

- 1+ years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft and publish project-specific shop drawings.
- Identify the scope of the shop drawings using the contract proposal and architectural drawings.
- Collaborate with various departments to review and refine drawing details.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and the client, frequently communicating any Request for Information (RFI) or other details needed to accurately assemble the shop drawings.
- Revise and resubmit drawings based on client red lines.
- Communicate with the client to ensure all details are understood and accurately represented in the drawings.
