About The Position

Haider Engineering P.C. is seeking experienced CAD Drafters for a PANY&NJ project. This is a fully remote position. The firm, established in 1998, is dedicated to providing quality construction engineering services and has a strong reputation for the quality of its work and client satisfaction. Their staff is experienced in the design and reconstruction of various infrastructure projects including buildings, roadways, bridges, sewers, water mains, and traffic control facilities. Haider Engineering P.C. has multidisciplinary capabilities and the depth of staff experience to handle a wide range of assignments.

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Experience producing and maintaining engineering, infrastructure, civil, transportation, utility, or construction-related CAD drawings.
Strong understanding of CAD drafting practices including layers, blocks, references, annotation, plotting, and drawing organization.
Ability to interpret engineering sketches, markups, technical notes, and survey information.
Experience working within established CAD standards and quality-control procedures.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver accurate work within project schedules.
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CAD automation tools such as AutoLISP, Dynamo, scripting, macros, batch processing, or similar productivity tools.
Experience developing CAD standards, templates, reusable details, or drafting workflows.
Familiarity with GIS platforms and CAD-to-GIS data workflows.
Experience supporting transportation, aviation, infrastructure, utility, public works, or government agency projects.
Previous Port Authority, public agency, or large infrastructure project experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and update engineering drawings, plans, details, exhibits, and related CAD deliverables using Autodesk Civil 3D.
Incorporate design markups, review comments, survey data, field information, and as-built revisions into project drawings.
Maintain organized CAD files, references, layouts, and drawing documentation throughout project execution.
Ensure drawings comply with client standards, project requirements, and established drafting procedures.
Create and manage drawing attributes, property data, and other object-based information within Civil 3D environments.
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to resolve drafting comments and implement revisions.
Support the integration of survey, mapping, GIS, and other technical reference information into project drawings.
Perform quality control reviews to verify drawing accuracy, completeness, plotting requirements, and file integrity.
Assist with preparation of project deliverables including electronic drawing packages and PDF submissions.
Maintain drawing records and documentation in accordance with project and client requirements.
