Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level CAD Designer in our Daphne, AL office to assist with a wide range of challenging projects. This is an opportunity for an individual to join a team of energetic, highly engaged professionals. The ideal candidate will have a prominent role on our team, strong communication skills, and a desire to work collaboratively with Project Engineers in the design and production of contract documents for various projects related to civil engineering. Requirements

High School diploma required.
Demonstrated ability with current versions AutoCADD, and AutoCADD-Civil 3D
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Word and Excel.
Ability to apply theories, principles, concepts and practices of civil engineering
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be a self-starter who is detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

Completion of Engineering Technology Associate’s or 4-year degree in an engineering field of study is strongly preferred.
Previous internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare plans, sections, and detailed layout drawings for an array of civil engineering projects
Assist in the production of contract drawing submittals while interfacing and coordinating with various engineering disciplines, technicians, and other design specialists
Perform other duties as necessary
