About The Position
The CAD Designer is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models to support product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes. This role plays a key part in transforming design concepts into precise technical specifications, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in CAD design, technical drafting, or mechanical design
- Experience in product development, manufacturing, or industrial design environments.
- Industrial Design, or a related technical field, Drafting certificate
- Experience with AutoCAD and 3D solid modeling software
Responsibilities
- Develop 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Revise and refine CAD models based on engineering feedback, prototyping results, and manufacturing constraints.
- Work closely with R&D engineers, product developers, and production teams to support new product development.
- Maintain organized records of design iterations, BOMs, and technical specifications.
- Stay up to date with new CAD technologies, industry trends, and advanced modeling techniques.
