About The Position

Using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create, modify, and maintain 2D technical drawings and graphic presentations of complex electrical/electronics‑related items, including components, assemblies, equipment racks, panels, and cable routing. Interpreting engineering input (sketches, redlines, mark‑ups, models, specifications, and verbal guidance) and converting it into accurate, complete, and properly formatted drawings and diagrams. Ensuring all drawings comply with applicable DoD and industry drawing standards, including MIL‑DTL‑31000 and relevant ASME drawing standards (e.g., ASME Y14 series), with correct use of layers, line weights, symbols, dimensions, tolerances, notes, title blocks, and revision blocks. Preparing and updating graphic presentations and drawing packages to support design reviews, installations, test activities, logistics documentation, and technical manuals. Supporting CM and revision control processes by updating drawing revisions, maintaining drawing logs, documenting changes, and coordinating with configuration/data management personnel to keep technical data current and traceable. Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and CM staff to clarify requirements, resolve discrepancies, and ensuring that drawings accurately represent the intended design and installation. Organizing, labeling, and archiving drawings and associated documentation in accordance with contract, security, and quality management protocols, ensuring traceability and availability for government review and audits. Developing digital illustrations, schematics, and other graphics that support procedures, training materials, briefings, and other technical documentation associated with supported electronic systems.

Requirements
