About The Position

As part of the talented BBG Tech Center team, you will create machining instructions for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines. You will select appropriate cutting and shaping tools to perform machining operations to produce quality finished components efficiently and safely in support of the supply chain team. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years CNC programming experience.
  • Unigraphics/AutoCAD required.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • PC skills (Window based) required.
  • Mechanical aptitude required.
  • Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and production processes.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven record of handling multiple tasks successfully.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to interact effectively and train all levels of employees.
  • Demonstrated handling skills and working knowledge of power tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Sigmanest experience is highly desired.
  • Associates degree in CNC programming or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with PD&E through all phases of product development and integration in preparation for new product launch.
  • Review three-dimensional computer-aided designs (CAD) to determine cut paths and translate into computer aided/automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
  • Work with CNC machine operators to verify accuracy of CNC programs, tool selection and parts specifications.
  • Investigate, process, verify and implement Engineering Changes related to CNC programming.
  • Support production in issue resolution, new product integration, continuous improvement, and change implementation.
  • Develop SOP’s, work instructions and procedures to document processes.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
