About The Position

Join a forward-thinking team as a CAD Designer - ETO to provide high-impact drafting and design support for Hyperscale Data Center Modules. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong experience in EPC modular drafting, electrical design, and advanced CAD tools. You will work closely with engineers, contribute to mission-critical projects, and have the opportunity to supervise design work and influence process improvement in a collaborative office environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical design for data center modules or similar environments
  • Expert proficiency in SolidWorks (required), AutoCAD, Navisworks, PDF Editors, and Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong capability in producing and interpreting electrical system drawings and documentation
  • Technical certification in design discipline
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry codes and standards: IEC, IBC, OSHA, NEC, NFPA
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must Have Right to Work in the US

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with high-density/hyperscale data centers
  • Operational knowledge of SAP, Autodesk Revit, and BIM 360
  • Ability to illustrate design concepts via hand or digital sketches
  • Strong client relationship management and creative problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and approve detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and BOMs for modular data center projects
  • Prepare comprehensive MTOs and electrical deliverables such as cable routing, schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts
  • Ensure all drawings and documents comply with engineering standards and QA/QC requirements
  • Simulate and resolve technical issues through design drawings to support service teams
  • Coordinate and supervise third-party engineering and design vendors
  • Compile installation procedures and sequence drawings for Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Interface with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure project success
  • Review vendor documentation for compliance with client specs and industrial standards
  • Provide feedback and lessons learned to optimize tools and workflows
