Requirements

• Experienced and energetic CAD/CAM drafter
• Proficiency in CAD programs such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of applicable government standards, ASME standards, and other drafting guidelines
• Ability to collaborate with project engineers
• Ability to review drawing updates and new drawings
• Ability to coordinate with Configuration Management

Responsibilities

• Edits existing and creates new engineering drawings using CAD programs such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Ensures proper application of applicable government standards, ASME standards, and other guidelines for drafting engineering drawings.
• Collaborates with project engineers to clarify and answer questions regarding drawing updates and support teams during planning sessions.
• Reviews drawing updates and new drawings created by peers to ensure all information is incorporated correctly and all standards are followed.
• Coordinates with Configuration Management to ensure drawing baseline is maintained and updated by downloading work and uploading finished drawings in product lifecycle management platform.
