About The Position

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Revit MEP Designer with knowledge and experience designing Process Mechanical piping in Revit to work alongside staff Engineers and Senior CAD/BIM Designers. This position will include the design and production of contract documents for various Water, Wastewater and Pump Station facilities projects. Hazen and Sawyer is an employee-owned company founded in 1951 with a singular focus on "all things water." Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience designing Process Mechanical piping in Revit
  • Completion of a technical school with CAD design certificate or Associate’s degree with emphasis on Revit MEP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Creation of Revit models, Revit families, and CAD base files for use in creating contract documents
  • Ability to design piping layouts in Revit to produce enlarged plans, sections, and details for various process mechanical systems
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (Site Civil, Structural, Architectural, HVAC, Electrical, and I&C) to help resolve design conflicts and challenges
  • Executing redlines from Engineers and senior CAD/BIM Designers
  • Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards
  • Ambition to learn, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other designers
