CAD & 3D Production Designer

About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative CAD & 3D Production Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will play a key part in turning design concepts into highly detailed construction documentation and immersive 3D visual models. Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD & SketchUp (must be capable of efficiently building standard construction sets and 3D models).
Construction Documentation Experience: Proven ability to create clean, accurate, and detailed technical drawing sets.
Portfolio Required: Applicants must provide a portfolio or work samples demonstrating both 2D drafting/construction details and 3D modeling work.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of professional experience in technical drafting and 3D visualization.
Residential Landscape Architecture or Design experience is preferred, but candidate experience in architectural/site drafting will also be considered.
Experience with 3D rendering engines such as Lumion or D5 Render is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Translate preliminary landscape design concepts and sketches into complete, accurate construction documentation (plan sets, construction details, layouts, and elevations).
Develop detailed 3D models and renderings using SketchUp to visualize outdoor living spaces and site designs.
Coordinate with the design team to make revisions, incorporate feedback, and ensure documentation meets construction standards.
Maintain organized CAD standards, layer structures, and block libraries across projects.
