About The Position

This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and care of the cabulance vehicle, ensuring timely pick-ups of patients from facilities. The Cabulance Driver will assist patients in transferring to the vehicle, safely transport them while handling any necessary equipment, and ensure all belongings and paperwork reach the destination. A report on patient care may be provided to receiving facility staff, and required signatures will be collected. The position requires adherence to all NWA policies and protocols, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No more than 1 speeding violation in the last 3 years on the clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2 years of driving experience at the age of 23 or older.
  • Background check and drug screening are required during onboarding.
  • Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (reimbursed by NWA).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing software for creating and maintaining patient care reports.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and care of the cabulance vehicle.
  • Arrive at facilities in a timely manner to pick up patients.
  • Assist patients in transferring to the cabulance vehicle, ensuring the safety of their belongings and paperwork.
  • Safely transport patients, including handling any patient equipment, while operating the cabulance vehicle.
  • Ensure that all patient belongings and paperwork reach the destination with the patient.
  • Provide a report on patient care to the receiving facility staff, if necessary.
  • Collect required signatures from patients and medical staff as necessary.
  • Adhere to all NWA policies and protocols.
  • Perform other duties as required.
