About The Position

WHAT YOU’LL DO - Completes the daily tasks of a floor supervisor as it pertains to assisting Bartenders, Servers, Food Runners, Barbacks and all other positions you can lend assistance. - Training of all new positions with 5-star service standards and ongoing training of the service staff to include periodic training topics on products, procedures, and service standards. - Address guest concerns and ensure a prompt resolution. - Other responsibilities to be given by the Food & Beverage Management team. - Observe, monitor and understand the cost efficiency of the position as it pertains to a successful outcome. ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES - Supervise Food and Beverage Pool Bar Outlet operations & quality - Communicate and delegate tasks to the team - Ensure compliance with brand standards - Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner - Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets - Assist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members - Assist with annual appraisals of team members under your responsibility - Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation - Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships - Responsible for establishing partnerships with F&B management team. - Keeping active spill sheets for all wasted beverages. - Conducts monthly inventory. - Serves as bartender trainer for new and existing staff and upholds bar standards with team. - In conjunction with F&B management team; Establishes bar standards for liquor, beer, wine, soft beverage, barista and garnishes. - Implements all opening and closing checklists for staff and ensures standards are upheld. - Maintains open and frequent communication with the Food and Beverage Outlet Managers. - Development of a daily huddle and ensuring daily participation. - Implementation of a bi-weekly cleaning schedule. - Enforcing meal & rest breaks are taken at appropriate times. - Ensures that all operating equipment is in proper working order, and that equipment and supplies are sanitary and clean. - Develops a strategy to increase SALT scores and executes with staff. - Attends mandatory meetings including executive meetings, staff meetings, etc.

Requirements

  • Prior two (2) years previous serving, bartending or in other aspects of a restaurant experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Supervisory experience in Food & Beverage preferred.
