About The Position

At Advanced Digital Cable, we are a premier manufacturer of wire and cable, providing the essential components for modern infrastructure. We utilize advanced manufacturing technology and equipment across four U.S. locations. We are seeking a detail-oriented Cabling Machine Operator who enjoys working with high-tech machinery. This role is responsible for the structural integrity of our cables, requiring precision, safety, and high-quality work.

Requirements

Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex work instructions and job travelers.
Mathematical Aptitude: Proficiency in using precision measuring tools like calipers and cutters.
Communication: Strong oral communication skills with a focus on active listening and seeking clarification.
Professionalism: A consistent track record of punctuality, accountability, and meeting productivity standards.
Adaptability: The ability to multi-task and pivot between different product setups as production needs change.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
Physical Requirements: Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Assemble: Twist and cable primary conductors together using specialized industrial equipment.
Verify: Measure diameters and gauges with calipers to ensure quality.
Document: Keep accurate records of work to ensure reels meet high standards.
Lead: Maintain workspace and ensure products are wrapped and ready for the next production stage.
Safety: Follow proper safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and the use of PPE.
