About The Position

Join a fast-growing team building next-generation data centers across the Dallas area. We’re hiring multiple Cable Technicians (Level 1–3), Fiber Splicers, and Site Leads/Superintendents to support large-scale hyperscale and enterprise data center projects. This is a hands-on, on-site opportunity with strong potential for full-time conversion and career growth. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to high-impact infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of cabling or fiber installation experience OR completion of a fiber training program (trade school, bootcamp, etc.) (Level 1)
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced construction/data center environment (Level 1)
  • 1+ year of structured cabling experience in commercial or data center environments (Level 2)
  • Experience with fiber terminations, testing, and installations (Level 2)
  • Working knowledge of splicing (basic exposure acceptable) (Level 2)
  • Ability to install pathways (cable tray, supports, fiber runners) (Level 2)
  • Strong experience in structured cabling and data center builds (Level 3 Lead)
  • Ability to lead teams of 20–35 technicians (Level 3 Lead)
  • Experience with fiber systems, rack/stack, and infrastructure builds (Level 3 Lead)
  • Administrative skills (Excel, tracking, timecards, reporting) (Level 3 Lead)
  • Proven leadership and mentorship abilities (Level 3 Lead)
  • Strong expertise in fiber splicing (fusion splicing preferred) (Fiber Splicer)
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting fiber networks (Fiber Splicer)
  • Proven experience leading large-scale data center (DC) builds (Superintendent)
  • Background in OSP/ISP and hyperscale environments (Superintendent)
  • Strong administrative and reporting skills (Superintendent)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ribbonized splicing and fiber types is a plus (Fiber Splicer)
  • Structured cabling (OSP/ISP)
  • Fiber and copper termination/testing
  • Rack & stack installations
  • Punch-downs and patch panel work
  • Knowledge of color codes and QA standards
  • Experience with Fluke/Versiv testers

Responsibilities

  • Install, route, and dress copper and fiber cabling (CAT5, CAT6, fiber, coax)
  • Perform cable labeling, termination, and testing
  • Install cable trays, pathways, racks, and supports
  • Conduct fiber splicing and testing (where applicable)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Maintain organized job sites and manage installation materials
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues
  • Ensure quality standards (labeling, terminations, clean cable management)
