About The Position

We are seeking multiple Installation & Cable Technicians for projects in Ames, Des Moines, IA, and surrounding areas. Some travel is required, with per diem provided. Candidates must have at least six months of low-voltage experience, though individuals with relevant knowledge and hands-on training may also be considered. Technicians will be responsible for installing data racks and cabinets, running Cat6 and coaxial cable, installing faceplates, and performing testing and labeling. Responsibilities also include setting up DirecTV cable boxes, modems, and satellite dishes in individual rooms, as well as assisting with the buildout of server closets and network infrastructure. Work will take place both indoors and outdoors at schools and apartment complexes. Occasionally, duties may include trenching and directional drilling. Technicians will follow guidance and direction from project leads.

Requirements

At least six months of low-voltage experience
