About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Entry-Level Cable Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in low-voltage and structured cabling. The role will support the installation, termination, and testing of CAT5/CAT6 cabling, as well as assist with wireless access point and A/V system installations.

Requirements

6 months to 1+ year of cabling, construction, electrical, or related experience preferred.
Basic understanding of structured cabling and low-voltage systems.
Ability to use hand tools and follow instructions.
Must have own basic hand tools (snips, crimpers, screwdriver set, punch-down tool).
Reliable transportation to job sites.
Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in commercial environments.
Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Pull, route, and install CAT5/CAT6 data cabling.
Assist with cable termination, testing, labeling, and troubleshooting.
Install cable trays and support structures.
Rack and stack network equipment.
Assist with wireless access point and A/V installations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety guidelines and company installation standards.
Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
