About The Position

Our client is seeking dependable Cable Technicians to support growing commercial installation projects throughout the Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma markets. This position focuses on structured cabling installations, including pulling, terminating, and testing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling in commercial construction and renovation environments. Due to significant growth in project volume and upcoming commercial installations, our client is expanding its team to meet customer deadlines and support increased workload across the region. Successful technicians will play a critical role in delivering high-quality installations while helping the team scale efficiently.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience in structured cabling, low-voltage installation, electrical, telecommunications, or related field work
  • Experience pulling, terminating, and testing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
  • Experience working on commercial construction or renovation projects
  • Basic understanding of low-voltage systems and wiring standards
  • Reliable transportation to project sites
  • Ability to lift equipment and materials and work in active construction environments
  • Must possess basic hand tools, including: Snips, Crimpers, Screwdriver set, Punch-down tool

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with rack-and-stack installations
  • Wireless access point (WAP) installation experience
  • Fiber optic cabling experience
  • Experience with cable trays and pathway installations
  • Low-voltage, electrical, or telecommunications certifications

Responsibilities

  • Pull, route, and secure Cat5e/Cat6 cable in commercial environments
  • Terminate and test structured cabling systems
  • Install cable pathways, cable trays, and support systems
  • Assist with rack-and-stack activities and network equipment installations
  • Install wireless access points (WAPs), A/V systems, and related low-voltage equipment
  • Read and follow project drawings, specifications, and installation standards
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
