This role involves performing basic tasks such as unboxing Access Points (APs) and patching them to switches upon arrival. The technician will run cable to specified locations, terminate and mount new APs, and install new APs in locations where existing APs are being moved. Daily updates on progress are required. The scope of work includes running and pulling Cat6a cable, terminating, dressing, and organizing cables in cabinets, and installing Cisco APs (mounting is plug-and-play). The work environment is typically standard office or school buildings with approximately 10 ft ceilings.
