About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Low Voltage Technician to support installation and maintenance of structured cabling and low voltage systems. This role is ideal for someone with basic hands-on experience, including electrical apprentices who are not actively pursuing licensed hours but want to build field experience.
Requirements
- CAT 5, CAT 6, fiber, coax, termination, 66, 110 block, Cable, Cabling
- Basic hands-on experience
- Electrical apprentices who are not actively pursuing licensed hours but want to build field experience
Nice To Haves
- Basic exposure to fiber optic cabling
Responsibilities
- Install, route, and terminate low voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, fiber – basic exposure is a plus)
- Assist with installation of devices such as access control, security cameras, and network equipment
- Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and basic testing
- Read and follow basic project drawings, layouts, and instructions
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Support senior technicians and project leads on active job sites
- Adhere to safety standards and company procedures
