About The Position

This is a contract position based out of Raleigh, NC. The Cable Technician will be responsible for pulling, dressing, and labeling cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) according to TIA/EIA standards. They will also begin RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations with guidance, assist in labeling and cable identification, and learn and perform basic punch-downs for telecom blocks. The role involves supporting cable testing using basic tools (Fluke, EXFO) under supervision and gaining exposure to fiber cable dressing and basic handling. The technician must follow safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and take direction from technicians and supervisors.

Requirements

• Termination/punchdown
• Construction Experience
• Has not worked in the META center in last 6 months.

Responsibilities
