About The Position

TEKsystems is hiring experienced Data & Cabling Technicians for commercial projects across Middle Tennessee. The initial project is a 3-month assignment in Clarksville, TN schools supporting network and equipment upgrades. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Requirements

• 6 + months of commercial low-voltage/data cabling experience
• Experience with cable pulling, routing, and terminations
• Able to read and follow project plans
• Comfortable using hand/power tools
• Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and active job sites
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10 preferred
• CAT5e, CAT6, cable pulling, data terminations, patch panels, commercial installations

Responsibilities

• Pull and install CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cable
• Route cable through conduit, J-hooks, and ceilings
• Terminate RJ45s, keystones, and patch panels
• Dress, label, and organize cable runs
• Work on commercial construction and renovation projects
