Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and operate multiple machines.
Proficient in using a micrometer.
Knowledgeable with in-process testing procedures for manufacturing.
Excellent time management skills to meet production demands efficiently.
Follow all safety rules and report unsafe situations or equipment immediately.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Strong communication and people skills required.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Operate cable machines at the required speeds.
Set up machines and ensure they meet necessary tolerances.
Perform required tests on the cable.
Complete all departmental tasks, such as housekeeping and maintaining safety standards.
Assist on other cable lines.
Perform tasks on the shop floor.
Carry out other duties as directed by the supervisor.
