This role involves locating and marking distribution plant for the Cooperative, which is crucial for supporting customers, contractors, co-workers, and other utilities to ensure smooth and safe operations. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and making an impact. The construction season runs from April to December, offering a dynamic and fast-paced schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills -both written and verbal
- Self-starter who is motivated to get the job done right
- Customer service skills and a team-player attitude
- Experience with computers and tablets
- Map editing and reading skills
Nice To Haves
- Cable locating experience is a plus (but not required-we'll train you!)
