About The Position

We are seeking an individual to provide accurate cable assembly of contracted jobs including pressing of rivet assemblies. Work schedule is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm. Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 (IPC 620) and/or IPC J-STD-001 Certified or previously held certifications.
  • Ability to assemble cables based on drawings and other technical documentation.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unassisted.
  • Excellent manual dexterity to manipulate small parts.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to use judgment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling cables and wiring harnesses by reading and interpreting technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Soldering to terminals, connectors, and braid.
  • Conducting continuity and resistance testing.
  • Understanding of and demonstrated experience with IPC 620 Workmanship and Acceptability Criteria.
  • Requiring little to no supervision.
  • Achieving high production output with minimal failure rate.
  • Operating machinery as may be required.
  • Having basic PC knowledge.
