About The Position

Foxcraft Cabinets, established in 1979, is seeking a Cabinetmaker to join their team. They specialize in delivering exceptional custom cabinetry through excellent design and service, collaborating with homeowners, designers, architects, and contractors. Requirements

  • 2 years of cabinet making or furniture building experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right individual who is eager to learn the trade.
  • Take pride in producing high-quality custom cabinetry with precision and attention to detail.
  • Humbly accept feedback, learn Foxcraft's methods, and continue growing your skills and responsibilities.
  • Take initiative, quickly learn workflows, and work independently while knowing when to collaborate with the team.
  • Read blueprints.
  • Apply strong mathematical skills.
  • Use basic computer skills.
  • Safely perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Build custom cabinetry from prints, ensuring every project meets Foxcraft's high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
  • Read blueprints and shop drawings to produce cabinet components and complete assemblies accurately.
  • Cut and Machine cabinet parts using a variety of woodworking equipment, including saws, shapers, and other shop tools.
  • Assemble cabinet face frames and other solid wood components with precision and attention to detail.
  • Sand cabinets to prepare them for the finishing process.
  • Operate CNC machinery as needed, with opportunities to learn additional equipment and processes.
  • Support the team by assisting with a variety of shop projects and contributing wherever needed to meet production goals.
