The Cabinetmaker is responsible for the assembly of custom commercial office furniture constructed from materials such as wood, granite, glass, and metal.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of woodworking experience
- Ability to interpret shop drawings
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
Nice To Haves
- preferably in the furniture industry
Responsibilities
- Use various machinery and hand tools to fabricate custom furniture, including: Conference tables, workstations, reception desks, credenzas etc.
- Glues, fits and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit.
- Trims component parts of joints to ensure proper fit.
