About The Position
Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cabinet Shop Worker to join our manufacturing team. This position will work either on a production line or directly on cabinets, assisting with the construction and assembly of custom cabinetry.
Requirements
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Nice To Haves
- Previous cabinet, carpentry, manufacturing, or woodworking experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assemble and work on cabinets throughout the production process
- Operate basic hand and power tools as needed
- Follow production drawings, instructions, and quality standards
- Assemble, finish, and prepare cabinet components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist team members with various shop and production tasks
- Inspect work for quality and accuracy
