About The Position

Concepts in Millwork is seeking an experienced Cabinet/Millwork Installation Foreman to lead high-end custom millwork installations. This role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and satisfy client expectations, while also guiding and supporting the installation team. The Installation Foreman will support the Project Management team by supervising the installation process, ensuring work areas are ready, products are on-site, staged, and ready for installation, and overseeing the entire onsite installation work.

Requirements

Good driving record, meeting company's driver criteria and insurability requirements.
Ability to travel nationally when needed.
Previous knowledge and experience in Millwork/Casework installation.
Cabinetry certification and/or 3+ years’ experience in a related field.
Previous management/leadership experience.
Working knowledge of the carpentry/construction industry, including processes, procedures, equipment, tools, and machinery.
Knowledge of AWI quality standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Required tools for the position include: 10” or 12” Compound miter saw, Circular saw, Jig saw, Random orbit sander 5”, Belt sander, Router, Utility knife, Extra saw blades, Extension cord 12 ga. or larger (minimum 100’), Measuring tape (3/4” x 25’), 2’ and 4’ level and/or laser level, Scribe and pencil, Set of nail sets, Cordless drill and/or driver (extra batteries and charger), Hammer drill (prefer rotary hammer using SDS bits), Screw organizer, Air compressor and air hose (unless you have airless nail guns), 18 ga. brad nailer (shoot 2” nails), 6” vice grip C-clamps (2 min), Hole saw kit (at least 2 ½”), Standard spade bit set, Chalk line, Caulking gun, Stud finder (or magnets), Standard drill bit set, Speed square, Chisel set, Wonder bar or small pry bar, Finish hammer, Dead blow hammer, Standard open end wrench set (1/4” to ¾”), 3/8” drive socket set (5/16” to 1”), Crescent wrench (12”), 4” ladder, Two-wheel dolly, Assortment of driver bits, Standard Phillips screwdriver, GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter), Small shop vacuum, Push broom, Wisk broom or large paint brush, Dustpan.

Responsibilities

Actively work alongside Installers in the field, providing hands-on support and guidance.
Lead by example, troubleshoot challenges in real-time, and foster a team-oriented environment.
Uphold company policies and safety regulations.
Check job site conditions for readiness of delivery and installation.
Police the job site to ensure cleanliness and adherence to installation standards.
Coordinate delivery with the General Contractor, Project Manager, Production Department, and Installation Manager and team.
Receive delivery of product, ensuring it is well-maintained and stored properly.
Follow up with Project Manager and Installation Manager for unacceptable product needing return for repair/rework.
Document special items needed for install and report to the Installation Manager.
Complete and submit daily reports to the Installation Manager.
Handle multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
Maintain work area, organized and orderly, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Perform weekly tailgate safety talks and submit signed documents to the Installation Manager.
Ensure safety information (Field Safety Manual, AHA's, and Certification documents) is up to date and distributed to General Contractors as requested.
Communicate effectively with all involved parties (General Contractors, Project Managers, and Installation Team) to meet customer commitments.
Attend handoff meetings with Project Managers and Field Coordinator, and other required meetings to understand job scope and progression.
Perform field dimension tasks as assigned and relay information to Engineers, Project Managers, and/or Installation Manager.
