Christiana Cabinetry is a custom cabinetry manufacturer founded in 1976, specializing in high-end, bespoke cabinetry and built-in woodwork. We partner closely with designers, architects, and homeowners to create refined, functional interiors tailored to each project. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of wood finishing experience
  • Experience creating custom colors, applying stains and finishes, and troubleshooting finish-related challenges
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic math skills

Responsibilities

  • Create custom colors, stains, and finishes that meet the exact specifications for our high-end cabinetry projects.
  • Develop finish samples, color blocks, and custom formulas for homeowners, designers, dealers, and architects.
  • Collaborate with customers, designers, vendors, and our production team to achieve beautiful, consistent finishing results.
  • Troubleshoot color and finish challenges while helping identify practical solutions that maintain our quality standards.
  • Document color formulas, finishing processes, and customer samples to ensure consistency and repeatable results on every project.
  • Support our finishing department by organizing materials, maintaining inventory, assisting with specialty projects, and keeping the work area clean and efficient.
  • Partner with our Customer Service and production teams to answer finish-related questions, resolve concerns, and complete specialty repairs or remake work when needed.
  • Learn alongside our experienced Color Specialist as you build the knowledge and expertise to become a key member of our finishing team.
