About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Cabinet Designer to join their team. This role involves working with a variety of customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell and specify cabinets and other products like lighting, appliances, and high-end fixtures. The position requires responding to customer inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information, and assisting customers through suggestive sales techniques while handling complaints effectively. A key aspect of the role is continually focusing on improving system efficiencies and business practices.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience with cabinet or interior design is required
Knowledge of 20/20 or AutoCAD design software is required
Excellent written and verbal communication including a strong sales presence
Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
The ability to manage a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but equivalent experience in sales within our industry will be considered
House call and interior installation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while using suggestive sales techniques and handling complaints timely and accurately
