About The Position

Sets up and operates a variety of woodworking machines and uses various hand tools to fabricate and repair aircraft interior components and high-grade furniture. This role is essential for adhering to company policies and working from computer drawings to fabricate articles. The Cabinet Builder I will set up and operate woodworking machines such as power saws and jointers, trim component parts for a snug fit, bore holes for inserts, pins, and screws, and glue, fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies. They will also drive fasteners to reinforce joints and install hardware like hinges, catches, and drawer pulls. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Proficient with Outlook, ERP Manufacturing software and time and attendance payroll systems
Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.14 is required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Work off computer drawings for articles to be fabricated
